Hello, My name is Dr. Vijayalakshmi (Viju) Ananthanarayanan. My journey into pathology started about 20 years ago. I completed my AP/CP training from University of Chicago and completed my fellowship in Surgical and Thoracic Pathology. As a new faculty member at Loyola University, I was involved in clinical diagnostics of thoracic neoplastic and non-neoplastic disorders, transplant pathology and head and neck pathology.

Very soon into my clinical career, I became the associate program director and then the program director of the AP/CP program. I am also the founding member and course director for the ChicagoBoardReviewSeries - an annual, not for profit, rapid review, high intensity course that is administered via virtual platform at a nominal rate on the weekend.

This course not only benefits the trainees but also benefits junior faculty members who can showcase their teaching skills. Profits that go beyond the administrative and overhead costs are preserved for educational and wellness activities of residents at the home institution.
